Audacity in Healthcare. Choosing to Build Differently!

In healthcare, many women are taught, explicitly and implicitly, that balance is something you earn by doing more. More hours. More certifications. More emotional labor. More flexibility. More resilience. If you can just optimize yourself enough, manage your time better, or push a little harder, then eventually things will feel sustainable.

But for many women building private practices and purpose-driven businesses, that promise never arrives. Instead, the workload expands, the expectations multiply, and the line between work and life slowly disappears. What often goes unspoken is this: the problem isn’t that you aren’t trying hard enough. And it allows you to place yourself in environments that reinforce those systems. Spaces where:
